There is no scientific proof that specific illnesses cause mental problems. The jury is out whether mental disabilities cause physical illness. Do arsonists suffer from severe frostbite? @spikutus I agree with you - who cares who Travolta or Cruise or anyone else sleeps with? BUT, the cult of Scientology tells their gay members that they can CURE them, that being gay is WRONG and that they must strive to rid themselves of those gay feelings. The "church" takes their money, tapes them while they confess all of their deepest and darkest secrets and then, if the decided to leave, threatens to go public with the information. It's like some John Grisham novel. But real.
