Hi my name is Tracey Michol. I'm here to talk to you about the Texas House Bill (HB) 978. Your help is needed to move it to the House floor for a vote immediately. Texans with disabilities will not have the protections of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 2008 that President Bush signed into law, unless HB 978 is passed.
HB 978 is pending in the House Calendars Committee, which must vote to place the bill on the House Calendar so the bill can be voted on the House floor. This is urgent and necessary for the rights of disabled Texans to be protected in the workplace and under ADA 2008.
