  • The grape leaf prevents the white foam you can sometime get when canning. It also helps make the pickles crisper.

  • the brine is 4cups water, 4 cups white vinegar, 1/4 uniodized salt and about a tbs of pickling spices. I add a pinch of alum for crispness

  • Polish do NOT use vinegar.

  • Looks great. Exactly what type of vinegar do you use? And also, what was the additive you add to help keep them crunchy?- I couldn catch what you said it was. Thanks
