Mari Lynne "Mimi" Rupp and Jake Lemaster catch up with some of the cast, crew, and audience of "Evil Dead: The Musical" in Louisville, KY. Now showing all through the month of October at The Alley Theater, the show is a blood-splattered rendition of the off-Broadway musical, based on the Evil Dead series starring Bruce Campbell. There's chainsaws, pop culture references, torrents of blood, and yes, a certain demonic tree.

I saw it on the 10th...absolutely AWESOME show. Great singers, choreography, delivery of lines....I drove from Dayton, OH to see it with my fiance, my brother, and his wife, and we thought it was absolutely worth the 5 hour round trip.
I would just like to see them go on tour with it, though i don't know how likely that is. It would at least be awesome if it was an annual production--next time I would get seats in the SplatterZone.
