Nice one! They're actually running POED's again! Cool getting that MEC 376, always neat to see a high hood running in slot #1 on a road job. Too bad they all let up on the throttle while going over the road, they were sounding pretttttty good curving into the NC Wye.

The engineer I talked to a couple days ago said the detector at MP 304 is broken and has been for awhile, but my guess would be something along the lines of
"Guilford Rail System, milepost 304.2, xx miles per hour, no defects, repeat, no defects, total axles xxx, length xxxx, temperature xx"
Similar to the one in Gardner.

@TNT314159 I heard a Pan Am detector for the first time while riding the Downeaster to Portland a couple weeks ago. It pretty much sounded like what you said only it said "ST detector" instead of Guilford Rail System

Some of the old ones still say ST from before Springfield Terminal railway was merged with Guilford
