can you replace the standard plastic grips with actual real steel m1911 grips? Just received mine and i love it but it would be cool if i could change the grips.

I've replaced mine with real wood grips, a little modification on the screw holes but the grips fit perfect.

Those grips came from ebay a few years ago now. Dont know the seller now sorry. Search ebay for 1911 grips, i'm sure grips like theses will show up.
