There is a rumor going around that "The Present" at truthcontest,com was actually written by L. Ron Hubbard. He wrote it in the 70s and put a mandate that it must be hidden until Dec. 21, 2012, because people were not ready, the planets had to align, etc. All the sci-fi Xenu BS that is destroying any credibility that Scientology has left is supposed to be replaced by this "truth of life" theology, the real foundation for the Church. I don't think that Sweeney did anything wrong. How many times does a human have to be fucked with before they finally bite back? I understand that a 'reporter/journalist' has a general & genuine responsibility to be professional. But, at what point do you stop taking abuse and eventually stand up for yourself? I don't think that Sweeney's fury makes him look bad. In fact...it just goes to show how far you have to push him before he loses it. Scientology looks like the fucking asshole here.
