Comparison between two famous demo screens:
The multilayer scroll from the TechTech demo on Amiga and the Grodan and Kvack Kvack screen from the So Watt demo on Atari ST.
Both screens originally runs at full framerate, Youtube ruined that pretty nicely, thank you.
@swapd0 it is also 2 years younger :)

@Ahle2:
"If something was equally good on the ST, the Amiga version didn't push the the hardware very hard."
=> no, it's just the other way round: if it is so, the coders on the ST were great; because things like "hardware"-scrolling were fucking hard to code on the ST (as this was a bug in the graphics-chip), same is for open screenborders and the ST didn't have a digi-music-chip as well so you had to do tricks again.
But this is why the ST was the more interesting computer.

IMHO the ST screen looks better and the music is great.

Really impressive on the ST.
The simple rule is:
If something was equally good on the ST, the Amiga version didn't push the the hardware very hard.
A good example is Bitmap Brother games.
Almost all their games were equally good on the ST (25 FPS scrolling/16 colors)
