Who cares on WHAT day the Sabbath Day is on? As long as we set aside a day for the Lord, is this not what matters?

GOD cares what day the SABBATH is on, He was very specific as to what day He said to rest and Worship on, and He knew satan was going to attack it, thats why he said to REMEMBER it. A THUS SAITH THE LORD is this not what really matters?

The Sabbath day has always been and will always be holy. No one, not even Jesus, can fulfill this sabbath because it points all the way back TO the completion of Creation. Unlike the Sabbath, the annual feasts, sabbaths, and new moons were done away with at the cross because they were pointing TO the redeeming power of Jesus Christ.

Mark 2:28 proclaims Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath. Genesis 2:2-3, Exodus 20:9-11, Revelation 20:14, Revelation 1:10, Isaiah 58:13

The Sabbath was the last day God created the earth, and it was observed my the Jews as Saturday. They obeyed the Law in which God gave to Moses about keeping the Sabbath holy. When Jesus came to the earth to die on behalf of our sins, He went around professing and repeating all the Commandments except for one. He did now say anything about keeping the Sabbath holy. It was upon the creation of the Christian church began it was on Sunday because He rose that day.

@ Starbtw.. I posted that comment a year ago. I was trying to convey that sometimes minor details should not block our view when it comes to the main issue. I did say that a day should be honored as the Lords day. But I see your point. Did not mean to offend anyone, God bless.

I'm sorry not to be rude but what do you mean who cares which day the sabbath is on....Ummmm hello God cares it is his sign between him and his people, and if it did not matter then tell me Why God said to( REMEMBER) it's the seventh day of the week and it does not get any plainer then that.... if you can't understand than maybe you need help..........please study you bible some more just like the girl said God knew that satan would attack the SABBATH God was just preparing us...
