My continuing look at the Bond film franchise. Now we're up to Roger Moore taking on the role of 007.

Continued in Part 3.5. This one started to snowball away from me and I ended up really pontificating and getting more detailed in this installment. It was meant to be shorter, but what the heck.

Hey, everyone has their own personal taste when it comes to Bond films. Fans have their own favorites, their own preferences and their own ideas of what a Bond film should be. Which ones succeeded and which ones failed. While one fan might rank one as their favorite, another fan could rank it as the worst. So feel free to chime in with your thoughts, but please try to keep it above a third grade level and be respectful of other Bond Fans opinions.

  • IMO I thought Roger moores ones where some of the best. with the exception of the last one he did i liked his version of bond more then i lked alot of the others. Nothing against Connery but a scottish actor as a brit was weird(And b4 anyones Bashes me I'm Scottish so its no discrimitive thing) to me. But I will say that with the exception of James Lazenbeen ALL the bonds where better then Daneil Craig.

  • moores bond movies were anything else than disapointing...

  • 5:43 "so speak or forever hold your PIECE" :D totally didnt get that until now! hilarious! :D

  • Its my first comment on youtube, this in particular is well put to together and slick however the bond knowledge behind it is questionable.I am sick to death of hearing so many dreary americans droning on with their annoying flymo clipped vowels bleating rubbish about bond. This shows lack of knowledge about fleming, pulling the character from his suave intelligence background .The sense of humour is unique & hollywood is jealous of our class, subtlty&character actors.Watch Die Hard for gods sake!!

  • Bond isn't my absolute favourite movie series, but like most people I'm a fan. I've rewatched the series on DVD and I have to agree with HaphazardStuff. Both of Moore's first films are dull and Moore wasn't allowed to play the part his way until SWLM. Can't fault any of the criticisms in the video review and it appeared that the producers weren't entirely confident about the series at this stage. It's a real shame that Guy Hamilton was responsible for both, Goldfinger being a series high.

  • golden gun was one of the best bond movies

  • Moores bond movies apart from a few were always fun

  • @JudasAngel666 did i also mention scotland is in britain hehehehe

  • @Lollertron Exactly.

  • @JudasAngel666 "a scottish actor as a brit" scotland is apart of britain LOL
