@kebo750 Very good points, Sabbath was much more influential both in their era and the explosion of metal that followed, and without them we wouldn't have The Sword or any of the other good metal bands of our era. But my opinion is one of a musician, and I appreciate what The Sword is doing musically more than I will ever appreciate Sabbath's music.

@gsodvl But think about this... The Sword kicks ass, in part, because Sabbath was, is and ever shall be. If you make the comparison based on what Sabbath did relative in their generation to what The Sword is doing now, then I don't think your claim stands up. Of course, subjectivity plays a part and so maybe this really is your opinion. At least you acknowledged the blasphemous nature of your claim. Horns up, dude.
