Through their web of political influence, billionaire political operatives Charles and David Koch have bought access to democracy's lifeblood: free and fair elections. The Kochs have funded efforts to thwart 21 million Americans from voting and Koch dollars helped write and propose voting suppression bills in 38 states.

Why suddenly now? What about the times before that? Nobody cared about voter fraud until Obama became president. How do you thing Bush became president? That was fraud..nobody cared then.

How do they know that millions don't have ID's? Where do they get that info from? Is there some special non-ID counting section of the gov't? Give me a break! You're full of shit!

The Koch Brothers and all their descendants are cursed and are going to die a horrible death and go to hell. The reason is that they love money more than God. They should use that money to help the poor not to buy influence and make themselves richer. They are also polluting the air. The entire Koch family is evil.

I will agree with you that far too few people in America make it to the polling places as it is, and the fewer obstacles, the better. You strike me as a thoughtful and fair person that is a pleasure to exchange ideas with.

plus regardless of how much they cost i still think that we should make it just as easy for everyone to vote and some people not having an id changes precisely that.

To be honest I do not no about the laws in that state but i do know that voter id laws were ruled unconstitutional in PA because the ids were neither free or easy to obtain.

I live in Wisconsin where state picture IDs have been available free of charge at least since Walker took office and proposed identification requirements to vote. The people I know regardless of age, race, and infirmity's need picture ID to cash checks, board a plane, or even receive medical treatment. There are countless day to day activity's where documentation is a must.. They would be insulted if someone suggested they were that easily intimidated not to vote.

look back before the civil rights movements they had tests that made it VERY hard for any person of color to vote. This is no different. Pointing out that many people of color are poorer, therefore they cannot AFFORD to get a new id is not racist. Preventing them from voting when they do not have an ID IS. PS They also mentioned elderly students and people with disabilities.
