To say that God planned forgiveness for man before he created him is a difficult concept to swallow. Why didn't he simply create us fool proof and unable to fall into sin.I seem to remember i used to say this was because god wanted us to worship and love him out of freewill. But if someone is threatening to burn you in hell if you don't join him, that seems to take away from the free will and I would catogarize that as faith through the fear of the alternative, which will lead to false motives.
People in Old Testament times were saved by Christ.( Luke 24, Romans 4) God planned forgiveness for man before He created Him. He is the Lamb slain before the world was created. God is just and so punishes sin. Forgiveness is not enough, we must be changed inside to hate sin and love God. A forgiven rattlesnake will still bite!
It's too late for you to advise God, He is in charge. Repent and believe is best.
How wrong you are, the bible says. God has writing his word on the harts of everyman. Just you being here is proof enough that, there is something inside that wants to know if God does exists. Or you would not be wasting your time here at all.
If there is no God, What can you say is unjust? unless what I been saying true. If there is no God everything is irrelevant. Why are you should I care what you think?
The Bible says something about knowing that there is a God it has something to do with creation sometimes you just know. And about the sacrificial lamb it also says "the wages of sin is death" so to reconcil us back to Himself He had to send Himself down to save us. That's who Jesus is the son of God but also God in the flesh.
What about all the people that lived and died before jesus was around? How are they forgiven?Or those that were around before Moses revelaed Yahweh. How did they hear about this offer from the almighty?Have you ever considered that the need for a sacrificial lamb , as exemplified by christ, seems a little archaic and unnecassary. Couldn't Yahweh just forgive us seeing as he is so loving and wants to anyway? Why the need to kill his own son. Besides he is in charge after all. Isn't he in control?
We are born into this world with no knowledge of a god existing. We are taught by our parents and society that God(allegedly)exists.Which god depends on our place of birth.People do not decide there is NO God they decide that there IS a God at some stage in their life. However they choose to do this without any evidence for him and hence imagine things such as hell, souls and risen saviours. If you lived in Oman or China or Isreal it would not be Jesus that would be known to you by your surroundings
God said that all have sinned and my daily newspaper proves it. He justly warns the wicked by every death and every cemetary that one day all will meet Him. He also gave His only Son to suffer in the place of sinners so
we would not have to go to Hell.
So no one can say He is unjust since He offers truth and forgiveness through Jesus to all. Men die because of sin. The greatest in is against oneself for not accepting His love and forgiveness.
God is a god of love he doesnt send those to hell they send them self when they decide that there is no god.and if you are born onto a different faith we are responsible for deciding to live for jesus and he has made himself known to us by our surroundings. bible says For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made even His eternal power and Godhead so that they are without excuse.
A god that kills those of another religion simply because they were born into a different faith or sends the(alleged)souls of those that struggle with the fact that there is no tangible evidence that he exists, into an eternity of pain and suffering is EXTREMELY UNJUST.There is no mention of hell in the old testement of course as it did not exist as a concept until the New testement. There are too many in the world today that seem to inwardly enjoy the demise of others of differing opinions.
