  • Honour is a value that is only seen through perspective. For example, I may see someone not help someone pick up their spilled shopping, and I may consider them dishonourable. However, they may be on their way to the salvaion army hostel to act as a volounteer. In my opinion, this world is mostly without honour, but there are some people who do have honour, and some of them hold it high regard.

And how is sacrifice a pointless goal?

  • O pessimist. Re-think morality. Businessmen are honorable selfish people. It takes self to be honorable. Dishonor is without purpose, live to destroy the lives of others, i.e., despots, regulators and dictators. One must have a self to even understand honor. "The common good" is the root of your pessimism. One cannot live by sacrificing. This results in bitter realization that sacrifice is an impossible, empty goal. Honor is secular, upholding human values worthy of man - and fighting for them.
