The wrapped prawns is a refined and tempting appetizer, ready in just a few minutes... seeing is believing! Find this and many more recipes on the Giallozafferano App in English http://itunes.apple.com/app/giallozafferano-recipes/id384387249?mt=8

I'll turn these prawns into a tempting appetizer, in just a few minutes! Shell the prawns leaving the tail intact... take a baking pan, lined with parchment paper... take a slice of lardo... and wrap it around the prawn. If you prefer, you can replace lardo with unsmoked bacon or raw ham. Arrange the prawns in the baking pan... and continue in this way.
Garnish with rosemary... and bake at 350°F (180°C) for 10 minutes, just enough to melt the fat.
Meanwhile, you can prepare a tasty dip: take a food processor, add the cannellini beans... if you don't have or like them, you can use any other type of bean or chickpeas; drizzle a little oil... add salt and pepper... and a pinch of paprika. Then process everything until you have an even mixture. It's ready... this is the right consistency. You can serve it at room temperature, or heat it in the microwave or a saucepan. Now we just have to wait for the prawns...
Our prawns and the dip are ready... a mouth-watering combination! Good, easy and quick!
We used:
For 12 prawns:
• 12 prawns or king prawn tails
• 12 slices of lardo or bacon
• extra virgin olive oil • 1 cup (250 g) of cannellini beans
• black pepper and paprika

• salt to taste
