  • The only reason the pmags are going in tight is he is putting them in baseplate down.

  • @rpfoley100 Not true it's tight no matter how you put it in.

  • Will the circle 10 AK mags fit in there?

  • For $20, it still seems like a good deal on a basic rig...

  • How well do AK mags fit?

  • @SouldatAR Thats what she said! lol

  • Respectfully, the "dust caps" on the PMAGS are for long term storage to prevent possible feed lip creep. There is no need to be patrolling with those on. Save yourself valuable fractions of seconds and take them off. Thank you for the great review.

  • They are $20 bucks on clearance on their website.

  • @SouldatAR

Actually, if you put them base plate up, like you are supposed to, they go in and out just like a standard GI mag. Also, take off the dust covers. It is going to be tight if you double up mags as the straps are not long enough to engage with both mags in.

  • And for this rig you WILL need a dump pouch for your empty mags, the design is intended for ease of removal, rather than ease of entry.

  • I know I'm almost spamming your comments, but I just thought about this. With the way the elastic straps are stitched in, you can cut a single half of the lower two elastic straps to make the rig easier to use with pmags OR to load the mags brass up or brass down.

  • That means that it will stretch if force is used, and the pouches are designed to be loaded brass down.
