Kimberley Locke talks about Her Recent Success
Her Hit Album, Her Popular Tour and Even her Weight Loss
Kimberley Locke may be best known as a former American Idol contestant. But behind this seemingly confident and tenacious talent is a small town girl with big time dreams who has evolved into a talented singer, songwriter and business woman exemplifying confidence, passion and determination to persevere through any obstacle placed in her path.
Kimberley recently celebrated the release of her album Christmas, which features the #1 Billboard AC hit Frosty the Snowman. She has also joined sax-man Dave Koz for "Dave Koz & Friends: A Smooth Jazz Christmas" concert tour, which visited more than 20 cities this December.
But, her song Change perhaps best describes her most recent endeavors. Celebrating a 40-pound weight loss, Kimberley committed to tackling her weight. After enduring Simon Cowell's criticism of her weight during season 2 of the show and surviving Celebrity Fit Club, Locke put her signature passion behind achieving this milestone, as well.

Kimberley Locke quickly rose to fame when she became the second runner-up on season two of American Idol. In addition to being featured on two cast albums, and the national Idol concert tour, Locke released her Curb Records debut album "One Love." In November, Kimberley released holiday album, "Christmas," which featured the hit Frosty the Snowman. Kimberley has lent her time and talents to various charities including Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, YouthAIDS, Camp Heartland, the Human Rights Campaign
