I applaud her for putting something so simple and pretty up here. Not all that glitters is Paganini. Most people would rather hear a folk melody played so nicely, rather than a bravura encore piece.

This is "Music" which melts the soul!..What a sound! Sadly our ears have become jaded by the popular baroque classics, chruned out by performers to make record labels money. Surely given the right circumstances this musical gem of Schmelzer's could surpass the famous Canon, and out sparkles the Air on the G string. As beautiful as these works are, there has obviously been no small measure of neglact for this musical treasure to have been in obscurity for so long..Thanks For lightening up my day.

Schmelzer is a mistery!
WHY he is not at least as famous as Buxtehude, or Gabrieli family?
