Amazing video giving a full insight into space shuttle's last launch has been released by NASA. Cameras mounted on the two solid rocket boosters that helped propel space shuttle Atlantis into orbit on July 8 provide unique angles of the launch from the Kennedy Space Center and their subsequent water landing downrange in the Atlantic Ocean.

@malamagr It has to do with the mass of the particles and the density of the air. The smoke particles are very small and are easily carried back by the wind. The heavier bits of the exhaust are more massive and thus have a bit more inertia. Keep in mind also that the atmospheric pressure up there is reduced.

But no, it's not CGI.
