Il testo del brano Like a man è ispirato alla figura del Super Uomo descritta nellopera Nietzschiana Così parlò Zarathustra, che ha segnato lEliamo liceale con lidea del rifiuto di voler mirare a una perfezione divina, utopica dell'essere umano, contrapponendole la presa di coscienza che la vita va vissuta da uomini cioè esseri imperfetti o, se vogliamo, sbagliati, peccatori e spesso anche ingiusti.

The chorus, Like a man is inspired by Nietzches Superman, mentioned in Thus Spoke Zarathustra, who inculcated the adolescent Eliamo with the idea of rejecting the desired goal of divine perfection, utopia of mankind, juxtaposing this in tension to the life actually lived by humans, that is, imperfect, or, if you like, mistaken, marked by sin and often unjust.
When I recorded the tracks on the album, all parts of them were very clear in my mind. I immediately recorded them, instinctively, as I already had a clear plan regarding the project. S.E.
