Planes in the video are T-6 Texans (or possibly Navy SN-Js - same plane used by Navy instead of Army Air Corps.) They were advanced fighter pilot training planes used for many years, and are a favorite "warbird" for private collectors to own and fly now. I love the combination of the 1940s uniforms and the long 1980s hair - classic video from the era!

Yes the plane on the poster was a Mustang and the planes in the video I think were Avengers,but it's a flippin music video.What does it matter? It's a good song.

A Mustang is a single-seater. They needed two-seaters for the mission.

Dude...Back in the day car companies used to make planes for the war effort. Mitsubishi in Japan always made planes and Tanks during ww2.

Pat Benatar became a rock star, fell in love with and married her guitar player, had a family, still goes out and plays with her husband today and made some great music along the way. Like this song.
