My friend Bryan was testing Les' new heli and it broke up on the ground! We discovered that using venetian blind slats for mounting the heli to the fuselage was not such a good idea. The bottom mounts broke free, and the resulting resonance snapped the tail off, and ejected the front canopy into the blades!

  • Not ground resonance. More like brain non-resonance.

  • Couldn't have been ground resonance. It wasn't on the ground.

  • you live and learn, but why so much head speed for a scale fuse thats one thing i dont understand as your scale flying?

pick up the pieces and get it fixed

nice heli good clip bad outcome :-(

  • Wrong pinion.. too many headspeed..

  • That sucks!! Just watching this makes me wince. At least I learned something from this ( although, not sure I would of used venetian blinds any way!)

Just saying. I do feel for the owner.
