@itsmesherese don't put all white ppl in a class, those same wealthy stuck up white ppl disregard middle class white's opinions as well because they're "uneducated" im white and i take mos def's opinion to heart because i know he is intelligent as anyone who listens to his music could tell. sorry but i couldn't help but be offended by your comment classifying all whites as demeaning ppl of color
-
@DudieBro Haha no. He is very educated and knowledgable on the subject.

obama is a republican though. just signed that bill that allows the indefinite detention of american citizens without due process!? He's just a more covert corporate lackey. so new definition. Democrats are the cloak and dagger version of the Republicans. Its enough of a dichotomy to split the public enough to keep us off the real issues.

@itsmesherese I'm confused... are you referencing a specific thing someone said? I don't think there is a direct correlation between his race and the main reason why a random Youtube viewer would think that Mos Def comes off as stupid here.. Have you seen the whole interview?? Mos spent 10 minutes arguing about why he doesn't know anything about a topic in front of one of the greatest minds of the century. 10 MINUTES. At some point you've GOT to realize you may be little too race sensitive

@itsmesherese but you can't possibly deny that he is the least qualified person in the discussion. and also that he really struggles to make a coherent point. and that hitchens could have intellectually eviscerated him.

and approaching his fourth year he signs the NDAA =p

Mos def's point is just as valid as any of the other people on the panel. White people love to use their privilege/power to demean, eliminate, and denigrate people of color's opinion. Obviously if you have to do all that, you are afraid of some inner power that we possess. Here's the thing, if you disagree with Mos, disagree with him, but don't belittle him and question his intelligence.
