Super Mario Bros. Crossover Ryu Brick Fail?

Edit: Since so many mentally challenged persons keep getting confused as to the nature of the video I'll explain. This was for demonstrative purposes for the exploding rabbit forum, I wondered if Ryu was supposed to be unable to break bricks with his head even with a mushroom or fire power which still seems strange. It also seemed at the time, as it does now, that there is a collision error with his ability to break bricks directly above his head with shurikens.

Is Ryu supposed to not be able to break bricks with his head, and able to break ones above his head while wall grabbing with the use of shurikens?
