Is them from the winterpeg manisnowba?

Cool. And good job by the interviewer btw - knew his subject and didn't ask any stupid questions. Randy and Burton stayed relaxed and open.

Very cool...thanks.

it's nice to see they're not at each others throats, like some other bands members...

Oh and their AM radio success was consistently more interesting than a lot of the big US top 40 groups no one recalls today- Gary Puckett & the Union Gap, Jay & the Americans, the Grassroots, the American Breed, etc. I'd say the Guess Who were as good as Paul Revere & the Raiders or the Turtles. In my view, they were not among the true rock gods of the day- Beatles, Stones, Who, Zeppelin, Cream, Allman Bros., etc. But to stick around for 7 years of chart smashes was no small feat in that era.

@newfypearl "Love is All Around," "With a Girl Like You," "I Can't Control Myself," ". The Troggs are well known around the world too but obviously the Guess Who's legacy has remained strong, especially in Canada. Yeah I like the Beatles but I listen to hundreds of other artists. Believe me, I'm quite knowledgeable. Guess Who were pretty good, I just don't see them as the Canadian Beatles. But they were as good as the 2nd tier of British Rock acts if not better.

@journeythruthepast okay so aside from wild thing what troggs songs do you know of? The guess who have a considerable list of hits that are recognizable and enjoyed even today.
I think that it is obvious that you are a beatles fan...but you know what..there is life outside the beatles. The guess who were an awesome band.

Great duo and Canadian rock icons, though I wish sometimes their legacy in Canada would stop equating them to Lennon-McCartney in stature. Yes they wrote classic pop songs together but that's where the similarities end. No one can be as good as Lennon-McCartney so sometimes I get the sense Canadian pride kicks in when entertainment and music historians equate the Guess Who to the Beatles. To be more accurate, the Guess Who were Canada's answer the Troggs, but better (except for "Wild Thing").
evellent vid...really nice edit and interview with our heros

Randy did a great tribute cut of "Boys are back in town" in a tribute to Philip Lynott of Thin Lizzy. That along with their great work is priceless to me
