  • damn this album gets better and better. New Order out did themselves here wish they never strayed too off the from the early days.

  • They were just improving as musicians, their best friend just died, and this was their first album without him.

  • @ronaldvanderkleij "such a strange day"

  • i always though NO reached their peak with the peel sessions 82 release...

  • New Order's purgatory - stuck between darkness and light unsure of their identity. Yet still brilliant in all the confusion.

  • Woven Hand cover of this rules.

  • Unbelieveble maybe the best song ever made.?!!!!!? is it strange babe and such a lonely way.The people around me seemd so glad to be here. Will my time pass so slowly till the day that I fear.?

  • I love YouTube discussion threads. Everybody's a friend and there are no opinionated self important types.

  • @kidcresh So you consider Temptation and Blue Monday to be garbage? Yeah, you're a prick.

  • @kidcresh From what you've just said I believe it is you who are the hipster...But yeah those albums you mentioned I do actually preffer to movement. As I said it has a hollow sound to the album but the peel sessions of certain movement songs are the way it should have been done: still atmospheric but not so tinny. Sorry I don't praise everything by the alleged all mighty that is Mr Hannett...

  • @madcapoperator Tell me, you genius hipster, what is better than Movement, other than the singles released around the same time? What, Power Corruption and Disco Bullshit, is better? Or maybe you think Lowlife-apt title- rivals Movement? Could you be one of those "fans" sputtering nonsense in the face of Martin Hannett and New Order's masterpiece?

  • @electriccolony Question is, if New Order were such good friend's of Ian Curtis, why would he hang himself and destroy all they had built? Some friends, huh? Seems Ian wanted to get away from it all, and hence his baaaaaand!!! Ouch time, guys! Listen to The Eternal, and the line, "with children my time is so wastefully spent", and remember, he spent MOST of his time with New Order!!!! Whoopsie!
