whats the minimum GPA should be to be accepted at the academy?

There is no minimum GPA to apply. The we have cadets with a GPA ranging from 3.0 to 4.5

Are coast guard officers allowed to be Tactical Law Enforcement Officers or be a part of any other DOG?

I don't want my C.G. Officers to "understand" illegal aliens, just pick them up and arrest them.

Thank you so much for posting these videos, whomever you are. I always thought I was never good enough for the USCGA; my high school GPA is around 3.2 which isn't great. I know still it isn't easy to get accepted, but I think I'm going to apply. Why not right? This really made my day :)

Yes i will, i'm really interested in this, i was just wondering if its still not too late to apply, i graduated from high school this year and i didn't enrol in anything yet, and i really dont wish to lose an academic year. but for the coast guard academy i'll be trained to become a coast guard officer and get me education at the same time.. wich i found is a great thing.
