cont..Why are these public service announcements aimed at just the motorcycle riders and not the rest of the driving public. The PSA states that of 3500 crashes there were151 riders killed. How many of those were killed because they weren’t wearing protective gear? My guess is that number is probably less than 1% and the rest of the fatalities were due to drivers negligence. My family will have to live with this fact every day because a driver ran a stop sign and killed our son, in full gear.

It's a good message and it covers what a motorcycle rider should do to protect themselves but what about talking to the rest of the drivers on the road. Riders can wear all the safety gear to protect them but what about the person in the car that runs a stop sign even though he sees the rider coming and kills the rider because of his negligence.
