In this age of information and globalization, the landscape of global economy has greatly changed, prompting businesses to require different kinds of workforce. The companies competing in a global scope now want the talents who have high adaptabilities in the field setting with information and global competency. Confronting such demands from industries, major universities across the world have shown the various strategic initiatives which would change conventional paradigm of higher education. Specifically they have put a lot of efforts to contribute to "globalize" their regions by developing the talents with information and global competency. In this session, we will share the experiences of 3 universities of Korea, Sweden, and China, and draw the implications to further globalize HRD in the future.
