And that Am blues pentatonic you played with the "blues note" as C# instead of D# for the shape you used AC, DE, GA, CD, EG, AC. It sounds good though but it's not quite Am blues scale....just for clarification.

Awesome lesson, I have been back to watch this video about 10 times so far to try and pick out some 'tasty' licks once I got the concept down. I did have one question- I notice that you accent some of the notes and it sounds like you are almost spanking the note, heh- can you explain more about accents and possibly do another follow up video on the same subject as this one with more of you just playing this mixolydian-blues combo and just talking about what you are doing? I think when I use my fingers I pluck it hard, I think that's what you are referring to.
