Ride snowboards are overpriced for the quality that is put into the engineering. It's not a rider-driven team, which means riders don't have direct input into what works in a snowboard and what doesn't. There are many better snowboard companies than ride.... like Capita, Signal, Artec, Rome, etc. which are all rider-driven.
