It was established in 1949 to provide new employment opportunities in the south eastern portion of the South Wales Coalfield. Cwmbrân means "valley of the crow" in the Welsh language. @Jacy712 Have you seen the size of Rhys' house with the recording studio his parents built for him? None of GLC are actually from Newport, they're all from affluent and upper middle-class surrounding neighbourhoods.
