Mstate Sustainable Food Production students present soil fungi and soil bacteria, and the critical role they play in agriculture and beyond. Featuring an excerpt from Joel Salatin's talk at M-State.
Hi Noelle!! It is hard to be excited about things we can't SEE, but what a marvelous job showing the importance of the tiny ones...the bacteria, fungi and all!! And while they might be tiny, it is exciting to see how there can be 2,600 pounds of bacteria, 1.300 pounds of actinomycetes, 2,600 pounds of fungi, 90 pounds of algae, 45 pounds of nematodes and 445 pounds of earthworms per acre!! And then to see the incredible things that do. Great work!!
