I dont think that was sped up, I think that was just a glimpse into the process of a great artist.

I have to admit I also lost respect for him after that but he admitted it was due to being hyper critical of his own work and as an artist myself I know how that can be if you don't keep it in check. The stupid thing is that now with the digital tools available it would be easy to go in and fix any mistakes with a program like Photoshop. Why he did not choose to do that I just don't know but it will now be a huge source of embarrassment to him that he squandered such an opportunity.

Like 7 years ago Travis was hired by Humanoïdes Associés and the writer Alejandro Jodorowsky to work on the EPIC Metabarons - Shape shifter. In 6 years he came up only with 30 pages of it which was a GREAR disappointment for Jodorowsky. Basically he wasted the time and the privilege of working with a master in Sci-Fi. Travis might be one of the best, but no more, he is now on my bottom list of favorite comic book artist. Such a disappointment!
