  • Let's all stop living in the past. This Queen of the Pacific had been violently raped by no other than our own monkeys called politicians.

The Filipino leaders right after the war wanted independence in order to have access to the "cash and in kind" reparations from Japan and the U.S. That's why we have oligarchs to this day; corrupt rich families monopolizing the media, businesses and government brainwashing everybody to say, "yes sir" and "yes ma'am." U complain, u get shot.

  • @gam3rg1rl that is certainly true. which is why i take pride that i don't expose myself much to the media & when i do, ie. i make sure i'm exposed to its different facets as to not lose perspective. still, media is very prevalent, there is no way to completely block its influence since you will get influenced indirectly anyway. in the phils, the media can do so much to unite the people into 1 goal, giving them selfworth & honor to improve the nation, they do the exact opposite. sad.

  • @PrinceChaloner i don't think that word means what you think it means, lol!

  • @nenabunena Most people don't know the truth because the history books are written by the victors. My cousin who's in the US Navy thinks that Vietnam is still divided into North and South Vietnam and it's not. In fact, in the Philippines, there are so many things happening today that are not true. The media has controlled the perception of the entire nation and most people outside this country.

  • This makes me want to cry for what our country has become

  • I wonder what happened if WWI didn't happen and the American's continued their control over the Philippines.

  • @nenabunena you sound like a COMMUNIST
