i know that no israeli wants to rule palestinians and opress them. the territories were occupied during an offense of arab countries on israel. as an act of self defence by israel. then the occupation problem was created, and since then there are negotiations after negotiations to try to divide israel into 2 states: for israelis and palestinians

so i'd say that its not that israelis are oppressing palestinians. but that israelis are forced to occupy palestinians, until a negotitaion is complete. and that it's stuck since no palestinian is willing to say 'enough with that crap, we agree to israel existing as a jewish state, we just want to live freely in our own country' (as opposed to 'israel has no right to exist at all, and we want all of it')
