it's going to be a problem if the entire ship collapses bringing all the oil at once but at this amount it's no harm. Seriously people shutup about the fish and think about the people that died. I like fish too but not enough to #$%^^ at something that can't be completely stopped. What are we going to do lift the ship out of the ocean? good luck with that....

its been leaking oi since it was sunk and if it does spill its not gonna be that bad especially not as bad as it looked right after it was sunk

also it is a gravesite so it would be wise not to disturb it

And how is a naturally occurring, organic substance (oil) that came from the earth polluting the water, anyway? That would be like saying throwing a brick of lead into the ocean is polluting the water, too.

why in all this time has nobody set this on fire. really, i know this is bad and all but wouldnt somebody crazy or stupid have tried to commit this at least once in the 50 years. think about it

i believe it was bigger than carriers of the time, but i dont think its bigger than modern Nimitz class carriers, it may be close in size though, im not sure.
