I saw RUIN in 1987 in Philly at the Trocadero when I was 15. It was the first time I ever saw a 'punk/hardcore' show, if you want to call it that. (I lived in Yardley at the time) Also playing that night were FOD, the Electric Love Muffin and the Dead Milkmen. Although my friends and I went to see the Dead Milkmen, RUIN has always stuck out in my mind from that night. It is strange to think that a band that I saw for an hour about 24 years ago made such an impression on me.
