Morning Joe Gov Pawlenty Hedges on Olympia Snowe

Governor Pawlenty appeared on Morning Joe this morning commenting on the race in Upstate New York. I will say that I found the interview rather disturbing, and Pawlenty appeared to be "running for President" with his language or party purity. However, does he not realize that the purpose of Congressman is to serve the will of the people rather than the will of the party? Joe Scarborough makes a valuable point that in New England for Republicans to win -- they have to campaign with a different language than Republicans in other areas of the country. Pawenty -- out of touch with the real issues!

How can he not answer that question? It's real easy "based on her record yes I want her to be part of the party, but she needs to understand that her involvement with the democrats on health reform is a concern an we need to know she's going to be on board with us as we fight the president on his spending policies and try and take back the house." Based on what he said a 20 year record doesn't matter, thats not going to help him if runs for the white house in 2012.

It's funny watching all the liberal press getting bossy about what they want the Republican party to be. I mean get serious. These news people have never said said one good word about a Republican candidate and now they think they are in charge of deciding what a Republican is? They need to just stick with their own ding bat looney Demoncrat party and let grown ups take care of the Republican party.
