I borrowed one of these and I liked it so much I'm going to trade in the wife and kids ! they've hardly changed the design in 8 years or so...Here in Oz the DR-Z is very popular ( Honda XR's are a bit overrated-selling for more...) The yellow paintjob is a masterstroke- "safety yellow" looks cool! I've never seen the alternative livery.....
Now I'm not a rivet counter but the DR-Z is a roadtrail with indicators and creature comforts with very low maintenance and costs compared to others.

DRZ400E has differences to the 400S, but yes they're all basically the same, but the 400E has a flat side carburetor that makes it have quicker acceleration and being 7kg lighter than the S. best go for the 400E when buying haha no more arguing just clarifying, if the E was street legal in your parts, you would buy the E over the S, yes?
-
Yeah we know, thanks anyway, but the point was that the one in the video isn't street legal and was bought that way.
@chadfacedbear
Regardless this video is made in New Zealand, and their DRZ400E is a dirt bike only (like in the USA), which is what is is the video. GO over to the "Suzuki New Zealand" web site and you will see that that I am the one that is right. Mwaahha ahha ahhaha........

@chadfacedbear
The DRZ400E on that site is not the same as the one in the video. The one in the video is not set up for street, and never came that way. What you are looking at on that site is basically a DRZ400S in yellow. The one in the video is what they sell in the USA as a DRZ400E, and does not come with the sub frame, mirror brackets, chain guard, or turn signals. Notice what Whyte says is the weight? 119kg. That is the USA DRZ400E weight, not your Australian DRZ400E weight of 138kg.
