Jeremy Daw - keyboards, programming, guitar, vocals / Lynda Sterling - vocals

Now defunct, Yeht Mae is a really curious amalgam of electro, industrial, brooding minimalism and out there alien mythology; somewhat akin to Mario Sixtus' Tilt! project in their otherworldly nature within the fairly homogeneous EBM/industrial field, and in that when they were good they were great and when they weren't good they could sometimes be bloody awful.

This track, unsurprisingly, is at the right end of the spectrum, a driving mutant dancefloor quasi-instrumental taken from their 1994 album Transmitter. It has a flavour of, and certainly wouldn't disgrace, Andrew Szava-Kovats of Data-Bank-A. For a band who released two albums on Talla 2XLC's Zoth Ommog label, there ain't a whole lot of information about them, nor internet exposure. That's a shame, because they had the capacity to shake it with the best.
