That may be true, however it must be noted that 'accomplishment', in the sense that humans typically perceive such things, is meaningless in and of itself.
Our purpose here is to learn, to understand and to grow, and accomplishment is only important insofar as it allows us to continue this process. If a particular accomplishment cannot assist us in this process, all it does is give us a false sense of our own significance, and is thus a false accomplishment.

No, we really -are- that small and insignificant. The idea that we are not is merely a delusion imposed upon us by the limitations of our perspective; In our own brief & infinitesimal world we are the one thing that is always present, which makes it easy for each of us to believe we are far more significant than we really are. Our insignificance doesn't make us unimportant however; We are each a minute facet of a much larger whole. Thus we are, each & all, just as important as existence itself.
