DO BAND REUNIONS MATTER?

On today's episode of the Rock it Out! Blog, I ask if band reunions even matter. Black Sabbath, Van Halen, The Stone Roses and the Rolling Stones are reuniting/touring in 2012 but do people care anymore?

I took a comparison of YouTube video views featuring announcements of tours from Sabbath, Van Halen and the Stone Roses and compared them to other YouTube videos. The results are rather interesting.

I care only about Black Sabbaths and Soundgardens reunion right now. But I'd like to see reunion of Nirvana (Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic), but I think that perfect replacement as vocalist and guitarist for Cobain would be Ron Nine from Love Battery. But that's only my stupid theory. :)

to play devils advocate....not everyone is into heavy metal / hard rock. with the other videos like NYANCAT, SKYRIM, & EYEBROW GIRL, no matter what type of musis youre into, these videos are entertaining. VH, STONE ROSES, & SABBATH may not be entertaining to everyone. its like comparing "regular pizza" & "hawaiian style" pizza....its a niche. i hope i got my point across the way i wanted.
