Marvelous interview. Especially at the end where Robin Ince demonstrates the comedic pull towards absurdist concision. I do feel a little ambivilent about his advice to comedians to be themselves. If many working observational stand ups like Dominic Holland or Michael McIntyre were true to themselves their shows would be very, very different, and probably a bit shit. Then again, they are very shit at the moment, so no great loss there, I suppose.
