Applejack tasting featuring Laird's and Tom's Foolery and Jack Rose Cocktail

For starting off the new year, what better than to crack open something unique. In this video I compare two styles of applejack, Laird's and Tom's Foolery. Laird's is America's oldest family run distillery. There hasn't been applejack made by somebody else in decades until now.

NOTE: Some consider this not a fair comparison, because It should be noted that the Laird's used in the comparison is blended applejack. It contains GNS. The Tom's is 100% applejack. Laird's does make a 100% applejack product but it's not as widely distributed as the blend. 65% of this Laird's product is GNS.

More browner? I like this stuff alot, I have a bottle upstairs and I started drinking it because my ancestors used to make there own. and its brandy not whiskey. if I could find this Tom foolery, Ide try it.

@TheBuddhaFist and gooder tasting ;) I said Apple brandy when reading the Tom's bottle. Whiskey slips off my tongue I agree, Brandy is much more accurate, but I am not so sure if you can call a Brandy with 65% GNS content a Brandy can you??? Laird's does make a pure apple brandy but it is not as distributed as much as the regular Applejack product. The Laird's product I tasted here is a blend. Tom's Foolery as far as I know is only distributed in Ohio as far as I know. Cheers!
