Castlevania II: Simon's Quest (NES) Best Ending

Little known facts:
1. The translators messed up the order of two of the translations. The WORST ending shows a gray picture with a DEAD Simon but only talks about you "DEFEATING DRACULA FOREVER", and the AVERAGE ending shows a happy day with Simon at the grave, but says that "SIMON DIED FROM THE WOUNDS AFTER DEFEATING DRACULA".
2. The BEST ending (fastest time) is the only REAL ending, part of the real storyline, and shows how Dracula rises from the grave in time for the next game.
Enjoy.

Not sure that this is the "best" ending if Dracula's hand is coming up out of the grave! (And why does he have a mourner?)

@Warpony9000 Because he wasn't supposed to revive at all. Simon was supposed to burn his remains in the castle, and it would be all over. Boy was he wrong. It's similar to the Dracula battle in Harmony of Dissonance where he says, "Hmph, I'm not stable, but your blood will once again make me whole." And in this ending, it actually happens. Simon you BAKA! You revived Dracula completely! NOW what will you do?

@TheUniqueMaster The endings are kind of wierd the ending that is the worst is actually for beating it faster than the average one. The good one is for beating it the fastest. And the average one is for beating it the slowest.
I dont know how that works but I guess they wanted to fuck with you for being close to beating it the best but they give you the worst instead.

I just want to know why Dracula looks like Skeletor in this sequel.

I didn't need a guide to beat this game when I was a kid... so I guess I saved myself a few bucks.

I guess it may be the silly and completely bogus randomness that you have to do that makes this game ridiculously frustrating and hilarious. It's almost like a scam just to get you to buy that Nintendo Power guide they had going on at the time. ;p
Because there's no way in hell ANYONE could of beaten this game without a guide. It's definitly the weakest Castlevania imo out of the bunch, but funny enough it's got this silly ridiculous charm about it. ;p 6/10 for me 'when' using the guide.

and the tediousness of it all, including the annoying 10 second-ish day to night transitions....Although I got used to it after a while, and the horrible empty castle with the oh so anticlimactic lifeless battle with Dracula were incredibly dissapointing. Yet oddly enough, there's something else i just like about this game. call it the silly nostalgia from the AVGN's CII review from a few years back along with when he even brought it up during his Dr. Jeckle review hehe....

They couldn't even get Simon's hair color right in the actual game....Since when was it black?lol Anyways, I actually just finished this game for the first time today with of course from the help of a guide due to the games crazy 'make no sense' locals and completely random objectives. But hey, the music was just amazing, the graphics were beautiful and it's got great atmosphere. But the generic crazy bland 'No Boss'(aside from 2 who were awful) Mansions and...

*hand pops out of ground*
me:aw shit not again
Hmmm.... this is the one the nerd get right?
And if this is the good ending, the black and white ending was the medium or the bad one? And the lightblue sky one? I don't understand very well what happens in the endings, anyone can help me?

To get the different endings you have to beat the game in a certain amount of time (I forgot how much time though). Your right, the lightblue sky ending is the worst.
