Soooo - I was wearing a pair of sandals on the day of this quake. Fast forward to Easter Sunday April 4th - I'm visiting southern California and a 7.2 hits Mexico and takes 7 minutes to travel to Long Beach where I am standing...IN THE SAME SANDALS FROM JANUARY!!!!!

Lorna, I think that you have just given some bad people a great tour of your house and all the things in it. So if you see any folks staring at you and then they seem to be going in the same direction as you, take a shortcut to the nearest police station. I'm just sayin' . . . . . . . . .
