*WARNING! Flashing lights abrupt in the ending. If you are prone to having elipesy/sezures, do be wary when watching this video.* Some may notice that the Bolt Bomb number that I've obtained is 1 as opposed to 5 from the Village Area video. This is due to, since it was captured from a different moment, the fact that 5's cannot be obtained in this stage (perhaps to give a little more challange and/or possibly fairness), I had to stick to it.

The ending does state to "Look for the next Keith Courage adventure." Sadly, up to this point, it never really happened yet. However, there is a SuperGrafx game titled Granzort that is based off of the same anime as Keith Courage in Alpha Zone (known as Mashin Eiyuda Wataru for the TV show and the PC Engine version), and is considered to be the spritual successor of the game. There is also a Famicom RPG and a PlayStation derived from it, as well.

Recorded from a real TurboGrafx-16. If text needs to be read longer, pause the video. This video of the Battle Field in Robo Zone was captured from a different attempt from the Vilage Area of the stage. This game is not yet available on Virtual Console.

  • i discovered this glitch accidently when i was 10yrs old. hahaa. I thought the hole was a death pit, then realized I couldnt go further. walked into boss pit, and he aint fighting back. haha

  • I've known someone who had discovered it on their own (apparantly), also, on around their first or second attempt. It makes me wonder how many players found out about it by themselves when playing it?

  • I'm wondering the same thing, though I learned of the Glitch through a TurboGrafx-16 Strategy Guide I have, which was made in 1990, so apparently the Glitch had been known around the games' release in 1989...

  • I see. There are probably a few others that were made, as I know someone else who uses a code book for the PC Engine for cheats.

  • Easy glitch for final boss.

Instead of droppin straight down. Jump across the hole until you touch the wall. Then walk off ledge into final boss pit.

The boss will be there, but he wont attack you. Easy kill

  • I have posted up a video demonstrating this glitch, also. It's under the name "Keith Courage in Alpha Zones - Robo Zone (Glitch Method)." I've pretty much been aware of that technique several months before I recieved this game that came with a TurboGrafx-16 a friend gave to me.
