I was stuck with the 2 mounting bolts until I watched this an found out that they need banged out. Thanks a lot for the help.

is that all you have to do to take off a strut? im 14 and i have a 300e benz and the my front struts are shot and i no alot about cars but the struts i have never really looked at and they said it could be 700 dollars of labor. the struts are 91 each ! haha thank you
