What's remarkable to me is how the same people who advocate spending trillions of dollars on wars overseas because 3,000 people were killed on 9-11 - these same people have absolutely no concern about the estimated 45,000 Americans who die every year because they have no health insurance.

I cannot understand the TeaPartyMovement...what's so bad about a insurance for everyone?! It works good in every european country! Everybody is well-off here because he can go to the doctor and hospital without having to pay for it! This is what a good society is all about. The rich help the poor so that even the people with no money can have the opportunity to live a good life. What you demand is totally barbaric and reminds me of medieval times, but that's not a modern western country!

Health Care is worth a tax increase. You would pay so much more for care, if you needed it, if you didn't have health care, How does 10,000 sound, for a birth at the hospital, as opposed to free?

@2008republican2012 I think it works okay in Australia . If you get cancer in australia or heart disease or any other cronic illness that most people get (more than likely including you as well) during their life then you get treatment for free in a public or private hospital. We also have a pbs pharmaceutical benefits scheme for medication basically once you have spent a thousand dollars on drugs in any one year its then paid for by the health system.
